My younger siblings and myself have remained silent partners in my mother's readings...not all of them, but some.  I've been given permission to post on her blog, not to defend anyone - but explain this entire paranormal ability, from my perspective.
First, none of us asked for this ability - In fact we were born with it, just as everyone within the human race was as well.  Some use it, some don't - Those who don't are those who are non-believer's - or afraid, period.  This portion of their complex mind stays dormant - and they remain in a shell; Unaware of all the great things that await us beyond our normal senses.
Let me ask - Have any of you heard of "zero energy" or more-over "zero point field"?  Surely if your intelligent to know beyond a doubt that there is "nothing beyond our physical bodies" present - then you've heard of this- Please, maybe you should take a look.  Just a thought

I do believe that my favorite part of the article states: (in Re: to Scientist - and like minds)

My mother has always told me and my sisters to treat others with respect, if we want respect.  And even when they refuse you respect, you still continue yours.   She says that it helps to keep us human in such an inhumane world.   She knows that no one is perfect and excepts this about everyone.   We really only get into a lot of trouble when we lie.   She believes that the only thing we really own is our word.   People will try to confuse you & twist what you say.   It's ok.  She says so long as we can look in the mirror at ourselves each night, and be happy with how we'd behaved that day, honestly - we will sleep well.   there are many things I believe in, that even she doesn't believe in - But she never says it's not real, because she doesn't know.   "You should not disregard anything - instead consider the possibility of everything....Never assume you are smarter or know more than your neighbor for in life there really are no facts, merely interpretations of what have been told to be fact"   And most of all, you should never degrade or humiliate another because of their beliefs, just as you don't appreciate being degraded or called out on yours.  Every great action is extreme.  When one can prove by fact, and not literature alone the existence of a Spiritual God, I presume they too can prove without a doubt the existence or non-existence of the paranormal.  Neither subject sit well with Science, for neither have any validity to show physical proof. - period.   Yet so many declare fact in one and fiction in the other.  That is absolute arrogance ~ Arrogance, pedantry, and dogmatism are nothing more than the occupational diseases of those who spend their lives directing the intellects of those around them.  (BTW, I believe in both)   Enough said....Now I can quit being a genius and go back to my X-box!

Trevor~Genius is not so much about new ideas as it is about clarity of ideas. Two people can have the same idea yet it will be genius in the one and mediocrity in the other.
